Our purpose is simple. We want to provide everyone involved in housing with the skills, support and knowledge they need to be the best they can. We also want to shape housing and community agendas. To achieve these things, we want to ensure that CIH is an accountable, strategic, modern, inclusive and dynamic organisation that is both prepared to face future challenges and fit for purpose.
If you think you can help us reach our goals and support the housing sector, please send your application to the CIH governance team.
The closing date for the receipt of applications is 31 July 2026, and interviews will be held on the 10 and 11 of August 2026.
For an informal conversation about these roles, please contact us to arrange a call.
Are you an effective decision maker and passionate about professionalism? Are you committed to excellent financial and risk governance and the role housing can play in the future of our communities? If so, we want to hear from you.

Appointments will be made on the basis of skills and experience, with a recruitment panel making recommendations to the governing board.
Please note whilst the position is unpaid, reasonable expenses will be paid in accordance with our policy.
